I worked at NaviSite full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    exposure to various technologies
    Some good managers

    Cons

new management is all about numbers. They believe they can cut people to save money and hire temps from India to fill in when needed. Sometimes valuable knowledge leaves and new temps don't have time to ramp up leading to unsatisfied customers. Listen to employees to often unless you were part of the new regime you opinion doesn't matter and good people
    have left.
salary is usually lower due to hiring from within.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Decide on a direction and focus on it. Navisite is position well for growth so don't miss out. Focus on retention of exp people with less temp h1b visas.

I have been working at NaviSite full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary Structures match the market, Hikes are better as compared to other IT companies, Good Reach to the management since the company is small, Get the option to be very technical if you wish to take and learn new things.

    Cons

If you want to screw up your personal life, then this is the company. They will make you handle at least three persons jobs. Less holidays and leaves. They never hire resources and will make you work like anything. The accounts person is rude and make his own policies. The HR interactive but the company can change policies depending upon person to person.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please hire new leaders in India Office and have an understanding to hire more resources in teams that are overloaded, otherwise you will keep on loosing good people as it happens quite often.
