    Pros

Personal contact with upper management, great facility and organization, thorough training, thorough internal regulation and auditing of company processes and testing

    Cons

Smaller company with many management positions filled, expect to be working in one position for an extended period of time without promotion

    Advice to Management

Management is very qualified and listens to their employees, provide annual or semi-annual anonymous reviews of managers and section leaders by subordinate employees to assess progress and current performance.

A company that really cares for their employees and provide an awesome work environment. High level of autonomy once fully trained.

The work becomes and has a Repetitive nature due to the type of testing. Narrow range of tests within the scope of a given department.

    Pros

Great Culture, Infrastructure and Future Outlook; Free Fruit, Popcorn and Hot Cocoa, Great, reasonably-priced cafeteria, Great Leadership, Beautiful Facility

    Cons

If you're starting out entry-level hoping to move up, you'll have to spend considerable time in that position before you're considered; Obamacare stunted anticipated growth and forced company to become somewhat more efficient, but they came out on top

    Pros

Caring ownership, excellent support staff, and co-workers that make the workday enjoyable. Upward mobility is guaranteed to employees who put in a good effort. I started out as a entry level media prep technician, and ended up a media QC analyst and culture specialist.

    Cons

It would be nice if they had satellite locations. I had to move to Arizona to finish my schooling and have since worked for two other laboratories. I'm not sure I will ever again find an employer like Nelson Labs.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Employees can tell when leadership truly cares for the personal wellbeing of their staff.
