I have been working at Neopost full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The people and the work environment are great. Very good benefits and a lot of communication from top management.
Company is very focused on improving, evolving and taking care of employees. The industry is changing and our management is doing a lot to drive new ways of working and making it even better.

    Cons

We don't always have all the resources we need.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to communicate changes to us. Employees appreciate the honesty from the top management.

    Pros

Good 401k and insurance. Home office.

    Cons

3 different managers in less than a year. The latest manager is not even from the industry and refuses to learn so can't help. Only does ride days with his reps, but doesn't bring anything to the table when riding. Just takes up space. Have to go to other managers for help/advice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retire. Make your managers learn so they can help their team.

    Pros

    They rent very nice offices

    Cons

Sales-- you will be axed after 4 months if you are not at $30k per month sales with an average sale at $2k. Do the math. Expect to work from 8am to 10pm with lunch and dinner breaks and also put in 6-12 hours on weekends.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Carpet bagging French company pays US sales $11/hr base so their French and German and UK people can take 6 week vacations, work 30 hours a week, etc. In an industry--mailing that is dropping like a Stone.

    Pros

Good benefits and flexiblilty in schedule.

    Cons

Poor customer service. Poor invoicing and customer resolutions. Internal communicaiton is non existant. A lot of dead weight at the top. Wages are comparable to industry standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow thru with what your goals are. Have an open door policy. Respect and treat others like you would like to be treated.

    Pros

-Good money if you are selling
    -Good benefits

    Cons

    -Terrible leadership
-No training, or extremely inadequate training
    -Poor management
    -Unstable market (currently)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sales people are not motivated by intimidation techniques, they need positive feedback and encouragement. If a company treats you right you will want to work for them and the turnover rate will drastically reduce.

I have been working at Neopost

    Pros

Neopost has a really fun culture and treats all employees with resepect. The Senior Management has a good vision for the company and explains that vision to all workers. I think they really care about the people they have working for them. Even though salaries are not the best, Neopost knows the importance of family life and promotes all employees to have a good work life balance.

    Cons

They need to put more focus on training new employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to spend more time matching the right people to jobs
