Current Employee – been working at Ness Technologies
Pros – - The office building is not bad!
- Close to Central Bangalore businesses like Koramangala
- It may be ok for 2-5 years exp. employees, sometimes get to work on nice technologies, but it entirely depends on luck
Cons – ( My reviews apply to India only. Dont know much about Ness USA or Israel )
- Too many to list here. Will list some..
- Third rate Senior Management including the MD and AVP and Delivery Head.
- Most of the Directors or Senior Directors are buffoons know little about SW mostly have a QA background and know someone higher up
- No strategic thinking
- They claim to be product engineering company with expertise. In reality, it is a body shopping company. Other than providing desks, chairs , computers and hiring bodies ( resources ) there is abosolutely no value add by Ness
- HR department is a joke, every other employee is a HR executive. Too many of them
- If you graduated from a good college / reputed college, dont join this company, you will end up reporting to buffoons.
- Lot of development centers are closing down due to poor management.
- Overall it is like a ship without rudder and sailing whichever way wind blows. The day there is a cyclone, it is going to be bad for the ship.
Advice to Senior Management – - I am not wasting much time advising, as the people are hopeless and impervious to change.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Ness Technologies
Pros – Exposure to product development ... however what you get is fringe work... and nothing else
Good technical people around you..
Cons – Each EDS functions as an independent Company.. with no centeral aurothity or command..
The basic business is a value added body shop
The company has no value system
Lot of infighting between Sr Managers...
You could be a slave to the client... with local managers having no Say...
My advise wasnt heard by a few of my acquaintance, and the longest they could stay in 13 months...so makes me believe nothing has changed ...
Advice to Senior Management – Stop fighting between yourself.... and show some leadership... Also please be clear about your business atleast in your mind... are you a body shop or a software development company... Please empower your people ... and a company which is so fragmented is no company ..,,,
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
