    Pros

Great culture, great training. All employees are treated equally and fairly with plenty of opportunities for growth. Good place for a career

    Cons

Entry level training programs are needed to get young college graduates into the company to create a pipeline of future leaders

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better entry level training to prep employees for future roles

A good European company but not as nice to its USA employees since most of their 330,000 employees are located in Europe

I worked at Nestlé full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great brands. Great company but after of years been a great leader on frozen division. They just letting the competition to take over. Stouffer's red boxes almost reduce to minimum due to new plannograms , i am not surprise that the DC centers will have issues.

    Cons

Old management , old ideas, 101 train or 102 train very poor .
    Rw3 system great tool.
NROC got not a clear direction because the old management refuse to accept new methods.
Most of the retail managers are just. The " yes " person .
Nestle management not getting the real bone of the sales .
Everyone goes with the flow . " Dont hear don't speak Don't see evil " otherwise your PDG review won't gonna look good .
Nestle management on Glendale Ca ... remind me like the USA congress . Everybody knows everyone. Basically Paul buckle and new CEO Paul Grimwood are against the old politics. It will take a major move like Mike Mitchell did several years ago.
Last year nestle sales went up 12 % , but sooner or later investors gonna start asking questions , the bubble is gonna explode on their face.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Back on year 1990 with only 125 sales professional persons reach the sales goals.
Now year 2014 with almost 525 sales sales professional in the field are only breaking even on sales goals .

Great Learning Experience, Area of Expertise Determines Trajectory

    I worked at Nestlé

    Pros

Great benefits, smart colleagues, strong training structure. Focus on safety.

    Cons

Process heavy. Much more attention, consideration and opportunities for advancement given to employees in certain disciplines (marketing for example). Pay doesn't seem on par with competitors. Sometimes poor approach to positive employee engagement. Expect to move a LOT if you want to get ahead.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's unrealistic to expect the company to be the top priority in people's lives. You need to bring more humanity into the workplace and provide more, not less, flexibility if you want to better compete in getting and retaining really smart people.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Laid back management (possibly a con as well), reliable paycheck.

    Cons

Lack of accountability (currently in the process of changing), working long hours in extreme cold, attitude of co-workers is extremely bitter/negative. Benefits are VERY misleading, they sound good, but they're a game of smoke and mirrors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Currently things seem to be changing for the better, but to be honest, fixes in processes and equipment will only do so much. A very, very large part of your problem has to do with your employee base. Morale is at an all time low, current changes haven't done a whole lot to improve this.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

People, passion for the customers, benefits.

    Cons

Work life balance could be a bit better. All the processes, rules, etc. and the mutitude of audits gets to be a bit daunting when you cannot more your day to day work forward.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow us time to develop ourselves and employees and we can only spend so much time getting ready for audits, continuous improvement, etc. without it affecting our quality of work on the day to day items.

    Pros

The people were great, the work kept you busy and the ability to own what you do was fabulous.

    Cons

Low pay for the work you do, advancement is based on relationships not your body of work and the expectations are unrealistic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees and give all internal employees the ability to interview for open positions that they qualify for.
