    Pros

Excellent training for those interested in traditional CPG foundation

    Cons

Normal big company bureacracy, politics and managing up. Can be very time-consuming and political unless you find some mentors and learn how to navigate.

    Pros

Position isn't always stagnant. You have the ability to more within or outside of your department. Nestle promotes internal hires for management positions, so if you start early, there is good potential to move up in a reasonable amount of time.

    Cons

Nestle strongly promotes movement, geographically. If you are not inclined to move around during your full-time position, it may be unfavorable when the management team is looking for a candidate to a higher position.

    Pros

Really good genuine people. Work/life balance can be achieved. Direct impact to company bottom line. Great opportunities for growth and development but it takes initiative and hard work.

    Cons

Huge organization that is very complex matrix. Can be difficult to navigate.

    Advice to Management

Internal movement is huge, but sometimes you need outside talent with different perspective to spark internal innovation and healthy competition.

    Pros

Nestle heavily promotes and supports employee development and training. Opportunities are always available for those willing to invest in their own development.

    Cons

Employees are required to wear many "hats" that can sometimes feel overwhelming. The high performance environment often leads to the point of diminishing returns.

    Advice to Management

Streamline procedures, there are often so many boxes to check that the actual value add of the activity/procedure is decreased.

    Pros

    Fantastic Staff
Innovative, willing to change, and moving with the future of Nestle
The staff runs a results-driven environment that focuses on capability and growth

    Cons

It's tough managing a union facility. The contract makes it tough for HR and management to make the changes necessary to help the factory run. Sometimes, the morale is low due to management changes.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a higher dedication to training. They say they are dedicated to a new learning environment...but the effort isn't always there.
