    Nestle changing the culture

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsDynamic, open door, informal culture

ConsCulture is changing due to competitive pressures. Nestle is pushing for more efficiency, more shared services, more top down culture

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to show employees you are in the trenches with them. Recent job actions sent a message that Leadership was protecting themselves, not sacrificing shoulder to shoulder with the organization.

    Nestle Waters

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsNestle Waters has great products and has a commitment to community and the environment. Employee's take pride in their products and services. Compensation and benefits are very competitive and bonuses at management level are consistently paid out.

ConsWork environment has been very challenging in the recent 3 years. Senior leadership ambition and local execution are not always congruent. Work-life balance has suffered as consolidations have taken place. IT challenges make it difficult to perform job at levels of excellence.

Once was a great place to work.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThere are a lot of talented and genuinely wonderful people that work there. The people are the reason I stayed there for so many years.

ConsCulture has been changing. Even as large as this company is, the previous CEO always made employees feel that the customers and the employees created and kept the company successful...not so anymore.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Aspirations & Beliefs are no longer central to the company

    Supply Chain (Current Employee)

ProsHave had huge amount of experience with the company over the past 15+ year. Lots of opportunities if you are willing to work hard and willing to move.

ConsWork-life balance should not be expected for those in middle-management ranks. The more you do, the more is expected, and you need to be on call 24-7.
As pressures become greater, the economy became tougher, and the business becomes leaner - workload just becomes more and more, until you can give no more...... Then more is expected!

Advice to Senior ManagementBe aware that you can push your people just so far - the vast majority of workers really care for NWNA and want to do the best for it,

Advice to Senior ManagementMake training readily available and upward mobility assessed fairly

Good workplace and great place to learn and start a career.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI was able to learn an incredible amount, and was able to advance. Good benefits. Good work atmosphere. Great people to work with.

ConsManagement needs to be there more for their employees. Need more women in management. (I think they're currently working on it.) Have to work weekends and holidays (wasn't a problem for me).

Advice to Senior ManagementReally listen to your employees. They often have good advice on how to make quick fixes, that will last and not cost a lot.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
