    Pros

Awesome perks; Great manager, flexibility, work/life balance is important to the company. And sometimes it's the little things - really good coffee, great cafe. I didn't comment on the Compensation and benefits because I was a contractor.

    Cons

    I can't think of any.

    Advice to Management

Thanks for making my time at NetApp so enjoyable.

    Pros

Great work environment. Smart people. A collaborative environment where people help each other. I've worked here for 8 years and compared to other Fortune 500 companies I've worked before, NetApp is far and away the best! It's an environment where the company trusts employees to get their jobs done and empowers us to make important business decisions at every level.

    Cons

NetApp promotes work/life balance which does not equal laziness as some have suggested. It hasn't been my experience.

    Advice to Management

Continue our unique culture of open communication to employees. We trust you guys to lead us in the right direction!

    Pros

    Perks:
     - Easy to get in touch with team members
     - Projects given are actually something the company/team needs but has not been able to get around to
     - Volunteer and give back to the community
     - Days are themed with activities (Friday = Beer Bash)
     - Office culture is very welcoming and people are overall happy
     - Depending on your manager, there is availability to work from home
     - Support life outside or work and NetApp and people overall like the work they are doing
     - Nice work-life balance

    Cons

Almost none. Finding someone with the same technical experience as you might be a challenge but that's hardly a problem thanks to the internet.

    Advice to Management

There are tons of free training courses available to employees that allow certification in certain areas and personal growth in others. The compensation for your work is fantastic and depending on the amount of educational experience (in years) you have, you will be more compensated.
