    I have been working at NetScout Systems full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Big Paycheck
    Company stock performs well (not sure how)

    Cons

    The bottom 6 reviews are by the company employees, if you want real reviews, sign into glassdoor and take a look at the next 100 reviews.

    - Most unprofessional
    - unnecessary gossip
    - management doesn't even have a college degree
    -Executive management has no idea what's going on. Also, power revolved around a very few people
    - Product Management doesn't have a roadmap
    In short, this company is going to be a stopping point in your career; these guys are going to humiliate you big time. They will try to pose that everything is mission critical but everything is just meaningless. There is no differentiation between services and sales. Plus you will have to deal with a lot of attitude by a huge group of dumb founded, narcissistic and egotistic people.

    Please resign and go sell girl scout cookies

    I worked at NetScout Systems full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Salary, company products are really good.

    Cons

    Lots of micromanagement, the management team always want to control you, no mentoring, no real team-work, just the old culture of: "I command, you obey". They will fool you in thinking you will do post-sales activities, but in fact you will end up doing everything but that. Rude behavior, bullying... worst professional experience ever.

    The account team works very disperse, no focus on anything. No leadership, you will even be called at 10:00 p.m. just to review a sizing! And that is just an example.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Resign, take an interpersonal skills training, even psychological therapy. Value your employees, treat them like persons, not robots.

    Pros

    Great pay, great benefits and great co-workers.

    Cons

    No trust placed in employees that work remotely. Supervisors like to micromanage. No recognition for a job well done, but quick to point out mistakes that are made. No chance for remote employees to advance in the company. When you get to the top tier of your salary level, they terminate you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Place trust in your employees, no matter if they work in the corporate office or remotely. Don't ask your employees to do something you yourself would not be willing to do. It doesn't instill confidence in your employees about your ability to manage. Just because you have "manager" in your title doesn't mean you are one.

    No growth, boring projects, a young high tech company with an 99 yrs old man's mentality.

    Pros

    At the time, NetScout had a really GOOD full line of products and offered solutions that were reliable and had good 'up' time.

    Cons

    MANAGEMENT. Upper Management did not take an interest in the 'do-ers'. They were only interested in 'numbers' and what Mid-Management reported back to them, which was NOT always acccurate. If Mid-Management did not like you for some reason or another, you were doomed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Become more involved/aware of what your appointed Mid-Levl Managers are about...especially, thei true views and feelings on diversity. NetScout on the outside appears to have happy employees...they do not!
