Interesting subjects and you are surrounded by interesting food and information about food. The facilities are nicely housed at the Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier, Vermont - another plus.

The students are generally unmotivated to learn and are apathetic at worst. There was a rash of plagiarism and widespread internet use during class.

    Advice to Management

Support your adjuncts by emphasizing the importance of the core subjects like math and English. Culinary students will mostly listen to the chef instructors and ignore the academic faculty. This needs to change before the education can be truly worthwhile for the students.
