ProsVery Stable Company. Definitely room for growth. The salary is a little low compared to other companies, but has a great benefits package. This is a great company for a young entry level employee that will stay with one company.

ConsNot a good company for older employees, because you need to put in 30 years to get a good retirement package.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to institute proper documentation, requirements gathering.

    Transportation Intern Review

Transportation Intern (Current Employee) Norfolk, VA

ProsGreat Benefits. Great, friendly people for the most part. A lot of company officers are retiring which gives plenty of room for upward mobility.

ConsThe hours are extremely demanding. There is a definite "us vs them" mentality between company officers and the Unionized employees. Many employees, even if they're friendly, carry a large slice of negativity which can be contagious.

Great company for young professionals. Plenty of upward mobility for young managers.

Assistant Manager (Current Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsCompany is making large efforts to improve company culture. Competitive salaries and benefits. It's easy to gain industry knowledge and relationships that can be leveraged outside of the company.

ConsNS is a 24/7 operation. Several jobs are subject to shift work, no holiday's off, being on call, etc.

Good place to learn at-great people

    DW/BiCo-Op (Former Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsThe people are super there. While there are the occasional 'pains, most of the employees are wonderful. A great place to work from the benefit standpoint too, if you are an employee. Work there and retire happy.

ConsManagement style is stiff. Hard to get things done from start to finish as different groups will handle parts of a project so you never see the whole thing done
