    Great place to intern

Business Analyst (Former Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsMy co-workers at Northern were great, everyone was very friendly and willing to help. I use the skills that I got from Northern in my current internship consistently. I would like to be involved in strategy development in the near future and because of this, my supervisors included me in many strategic meetings.

ConsI did not have any problems while working at Northern, I do not have a bad thing to say about it.

Great place to work, but depends on function

Vice President (Current Employee) Chicago, IL

ProsGreat benefits, work-life balance, and sometimes, compensation, depending upon what you are doing.
Firm likes to attract and retain good talent in certain areas by making a real effort.

ConsPerhaps too risk-averse, can be more innovative.
Also need to focus more on growing revenues and less on reducing expenses.
