    Pros

Working in Corporate Office you have pretty good job security and it's fairly laid back depending on who your boss is.

    Cons

Insurances is expensive and not that great, depending on your position you can get good raises but that seems to be an exception not a rule. In the IS department most of the senior level positions are filled with people that aren't qualified for the job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Higher qualified senior level people

    Pros

Good company to work for if you like cars. Good discount. Team members are friendly. Many opportunities for relocation with current growth. Most managers will work with accommodating schedules.

    Cons

Management changes too frequent. Difficult to keep a level of morale when a store manager changes every year. Often stores will run short staffed to save on payroll.

    Pros

Great Place to work part-time if not seeking career growth. The only growth there possibly is at the store level is becoming a store manager, so if that is what you want then this is a great job.

    Cons

No growth unless you move back east where corporate headquarters are.

    Pros

Good discount friendly co workers. If you don't know anything about auto parts great place to learn. Great store managers and other employees.

    Cons

Doesn't hire any full time delivery specialist. No benefits and at the store I work at you get a 24 hour work week. If you are lucky you get called in to cover someone .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The drivers are a big part of the success of the stores hiring full time drivers would boost productivity and moral. Drivers would be more willing to work harder.

    Pros

Loved the experience earned from the training material.

    Cons

Incompetent management. Some managers at all levels of the chain can be corrupt, others can be the best bosses you ever had.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. If they wanna work more hours and try to start a management career, don't cut their hours back until they can't afford to keep working and wind up quitting.
