    Pros

Great Discount and cool people that are willing to help you out.

    Cons

Hard to find parking in the top lot and when coming back from lunch. Want more women's cloths that aren't pink.

    Advice to Management

Allow dogs in warehouse and instill a culture that allows us to collaborate and trust in each other.

    Pros

One of the best cultures in the US - prior to the active involvement of Luxottica

    Cons

Luxottica's culture -- robotic and text book, that's what it feels like to work for Luxottica.

    Advice to Management

Properly support Colin Baden -- he has more employee following than anyone I've ever seen. Harness this as an advantage for Oakley and don't take it for granted.

  3. Oakley Sales Associate

I have been working at Oakley part-time

    Pros

Great company culture. Great discount on Oakley eyewear--as an employee you get 70 percent off of eyewear.

    Cons

Oakley was a high sales environment. If you aren't the greatest of sales persons then you may dislike the environment.

Outside the box thinking in an ever changing business.

Changes do to the fact that the company is now owned by Lux group.

    Pros

Flexible Schedule, great discount, friendly coworkers, community involved, the store I work at is like a big family, we all help each other out when needed, not every store is like that though

    Cons

Hard to advance once into management. Trying to be a healthy store and suggestive sales are always candy, I know it's high dollar but still think of your motto, the corner of healthy and happy

    Advice to Management

Busy work isn't needed. Focusing more on customer service will grow sales. Yes restock is needed but moving things to just move them isn't needed.

    Pros

Great room for advancement on the retail field side
    Passionate staff/culture
Employee appreciation (AMAZING discount, extra $ incentives on top of bonus some months)
    GREAT support from other stores/DM/RM

    Cons

Sometimes the store environment can become too competitive with employees fighting for sales
Not enough product in certain categories (usually eyewear) to replenish the store
    POS/office computer often have issues

    Advice to Management

We need another distribution center in the US
A scheduled training regimen for new associates would be amazing
Better tech in stores would be helpful

I worked at Oakley part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Amazing atmosphere. Great work enviroment, dress code/personalized work space. REALLY fast paced, awesome opportunity to master customer service skills. Almost entirely phone based. Great training. Great perks of at headquarters. Fun team building excersises/excursions with management.. Be on time and you'll be fine :)

    Cons

Tough to advance passed 1st level, but possible. Office cliques siphon off productive team work on day to day work loads. RX dept can be especially curt with new hires.

    Advice to Management

Watch the watchmen. The leads play faves.
