I worked at OfficeTeam as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

The best reasons to work here are that the agency really looks to help temps find their perfect fit. I didn't waste a lot of time going on interviews before I was sent on an interview that matched my skills to the company needs. It was supposed to be for a few months. I have worked towards permanent placement at the same company I was matched with. The agency staff was incredibly supportive.

    Cons

I think that the cons are the uncertainty of knowing when you will land an interview. I was stuck in limbo for a while and when I didn't get placement it was very disheartening. Although the starting rate I was offered looked decent, after taxes, I really understood why workers want to raise the minimum wage to $15/hour.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on getting talented temps into their perfect role. People will always come to you looking for work but it is worthwhile to gain a reputation placing talented individuals with companies who need them. Workers who have been laid off and college students with computer skills and customer service experience will flock to OfficeTeam for help.

I have been working at OfficeTeam as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Quick Placement, Professional work Environment, Metro accessible

    Cons

If your resume is entry level they seem as if they dont want to place you, they will send you training in your computer to enhance your skills, you want to take those and retake your assessment test so they will place you in a better position, or a position at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management does a great job, I have no complaints.

I have been working at OfficeTeam part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I have found the DC office to be very helpful in providing with me opportunities for employment. The fact that they call me to check to see how I'm doing with the position is great!

    Cons

The only thing that bothers me is, in the beginning they had offered me a part time position with odd days and they never told me that it was not a temp to hire position. I would've still taken it but I just felt tricked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more honest! if the position doesn't have a chance of going permanent its ok just tell me...

    Pros

Great company to work for. They placed me right away in an assignment. After the assignments end, they tend to work on getting you placed right away. A five month assignment turned into 10 months...and I am still here.

    Cons

I really do not have any complaints. They really do their part to keep you employed if you want to work.

    Pros

They get you placed on a job fast!

    Cons

The pay was a little low, but it really has to do with the company that contracted with them,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They was very helpful in keeping me employed. They had a caring attitude since it was my first time signing up with a temp agency. I would recommend them to others.

I have been working at OfficeTeam as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

    Friendly Young Staff
Constantly keeping you up-to-date (seriously, I think they called me at least twice a day) on current job opportunities
Great way to get your foot in the door at a new company
Online training program with different courses and certifications
They offer 401K and insurance like a normal employer up to 6 months after your last assignment

    Cons

The pay is quite low, but I imagine is universal for most temp companies. Generally around $14-$17 per hour. My current employer was shocked at how low it was compared to how much they would pay an employee directly for the same position (around $20-$25), but I suppose they have to make their money somehow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Is it really necessary to give every new hire a million different business cards that no one is every really going to look at? Save some trees and just e-mail them the contact info. This isn't really a complaint just an annoyance which some people may like.

I have been working at OfficeTeam as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

I was at a placement within 48 hours of submitting my application. I was very quickly offered permanent work by the company I had been placed with, as well as two of their clients! Great networking opportunity.

    Cons

Pay is low... But it's a good in between gig and can lead to much better opportunities. Also, I had to take more online tests than I felt were necessary.

I worked at OfficeTeam as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

My recruiter was great. They seem to really care about both their clients and their candidates. OfficeTeam was and is still very supportive and it clearly shows once you meet with them in person or by phone. There are great opportunities for everyone in this company. I would highly recommend if you really want to work.

    Cons

If I have to say one it would only be that the assignment was only temp.

I have been working at OfficeTeam as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Okay Iv'e been working for office team a year now. The offer benefits, time and a half, and holiday pay. But in order for you to qualify for holiday pay you have to work over 1,050 hours - vacation time 2,220? (up there some where). I was first placed to work 2-3 days. after that assignment was up, I was called for a 2month assignment which I am still currently working at.

    Cons

One of the things that I dislike about the situation is where I am being placed at. The people I work with are very rude, and ghetto, even our boss. Office team will call you weekly while your at work to ask you how your placement is going. That gets very irritating after a while because your working at the time. Ive even spoke to them about being placed somewhere else but they want you to quit first then they will place you somewhere else. Lastly the pay sucks!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People should have raise opportunities after a year of working for the company!!
