    Pros

    The people were great! Very professional and experienced people in the Denver office.

    Cons

    The constant battle between parent company and affiliates.

    Really focus on a strategy to completion.

    was an intern it wasn't to bad they are a fun group to work with and seems to know which direction they are going as an company/

    Cons

    didn't have much for me to do wish i was more involved in certain things. however it was a good experience

    find more work for the interns to do

    Pros

    very good support
    quick turn around
    minimal paperwork
    the support from the home office on the mainland was great!

    Cons

    beat the street
    pound the pavement
    find your own leads
    their was no real mentor close to me and the time difference proved to be a hindrance when scheduling

    Advice to Management

    small draw would be a good start for new producers to get offices started, free signage?

    Pros

    The benefit is good, the management try to give more benefits to keep the employee. Good point on the resume.

    Cons

    Very bad management, the turnover rate is very high, every employee will be feel upset with something. Do not be the employee of this company.

    To be kind to the employee from the policy and from the heart, not just pay, the employee is the assets

    Pros

    Greater than average diversity. Uniqueness is respected. Flexible working hours and rules. A liberal atmosphere. Comraderie among staff. There is plenty of work to do.

    Cons

    Layoffs. Twelve hour work days. Uncertainty about the future of the company. Fires to put out everywhere. High attrition rate. This year, bonuses were not given, and raises were given only to a select few.

    Advice to Management

    Give bonuses and raises next year. We have been working hard, and we deserve to be compensated. Invest more in developing junior staff. Don't just toss them into the lake and expect them to swim.

    Career development and easy access to senior management

    Cons

    Very inefficient management. The pay is not competitive and pay raises are scarce. Just recently downsized

    Invest more money in finding the right talent to run a tight ship-qualified professionals who will work for the right money; eliminate wasteful spending on overpriced consultants that do a poor job, and greedy MGA's that do not produce enough business.

    Pros

    Fast Growing Investment Firm expanding into various areas of Global investing beyond insurance. We are still small and in flat organization model - which gives many employees the opportunity to work on a number of diverse projects.
    Benefits package is very genersous.

    Cons

    Compensation of employees - word is most people or below comparable roles in the industry.

    Advice to Management

    Being a smaller firm, we need to retain the best people, in order to do that, we need to start paying them above average for just about everyone does more work than similar roles in other firms.

    Pros

    Good work life balance, friendly environment, interesting work, company show an interest in the welfare - financial and health - of their employees.

    Cons

    Out of date IT resources, the company does not maximise the benefits IT can bring to enhance and facilitate better communication within the company and between offices.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in IT and telecommunications used by employees to facilitate improved communications and improved business relationships.

    There is a high turn over of employees annually due to there unattractive compensation and remuneration packages.
