    Pros

    Lots of room for advancement; great people and incredible travel opportunities. Management does a good job of sharing marketing information and strategic vision to all levels of employees.

    Cons

    Lots of internal politics with co-workers; people are constantly trying to outshine one another in order to help advance their careers; sometimes at the expense of what is best for everyone involved.

    Pros

    Excellent benefits and bonus potential, understanding management, good work/life balance. Management seemed genuinely concerned about your welfare and needs.

    Cons

    Very few promotional or job movement opportunities outside of France or India. Like many other companies Orange Business Services is focused on moving as many jobs as possible to India.

    Freedom to adopt new concepts and strategies and flexibility in time. Room to grow in every aspect and more benefits and perks than the competition.

    Pros

    Well known brand globally and has good international environment. Some countries have good opportunities with good packages. Generally above average in all aspects.

    Cons

    Due to global organization, there are many tools specifically used for everything and not being managed well. Turnover rate is high in some countries which is an issue on most of the global companies.

    Advice to Management

    Better visibility on global business should be provided to all employees. Also preformance review cycle should be more effective and managers should be reviewed with 360 degrees approach.

    Pros

    Global company, able to work with colleagues, staff and executive management across the world. Historically, lots of interesting travel but that has been curtailed through better use of collaboration tools and video conferencing.

    Cons

    Several major senior executive management team changes over the past 5 years, including changes presently being made. Company continues to receive global telecommunications industry awards, but competition is very stiff, and there are lots of cost cutting actions being taken. A lot of employee nervousness about whether they are "next".

    Advice to Management

    Really need to settle the executive management team changes, and stop moving all significant roles back to Paris. Must demonstrate to the employees that the company which successfully expanded its global operations is not retrenching to a "French company" with little opportunity for advancement to senior positions if one does not speak French.
