    Pros

The people and the culture we created in our own world were great. It was a struggle to keep people believing in the vision, however, as things slowly became worse. The company is still riding on their former glory, so as a former employee, you still have a little clout, although it's diminishing amongst recruiters.

    Cons

Terrible work/life balance, cutting the number of managers at each restaurant, diminishing food quality, increasing prices, terrible top down communication, unrealistic labor expectation, cuts in bonuses, cuts in pay, increased benefit cost, short cuts on repairs, micro-managing, bad management - very authoritarian and not at all adult-to-adult interactions.

    Advice to Management

Scrap all upper management. Go back to publicly owned. Hire some people who are actual adults and then pay your people for performance.

    Pros

Its like any other serving job. Cash in your pocket every day/night.

    Cons

The company went sour after it went public. Mangers seemed more worried about money than quality of service. The wrong way seems to be their right way. Health and safety codes broken everyday.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking about your pockets and start thinking about your employees. "Set up for success." Seemed its only set up for failure. Its not the same company I was proud to work at a few years ago.

    Pros

Family Meal (if they even still do it)

    Cons

Managers that don't care, employees that don't care, rude customers. Went from high end casual to an Asian themed Red Robin. Families, coupon clippers, and screaming babies

    Advice to Management

When it comes to a business model, quantity in NOT better than quality. Dropping standards to get people in the door, makes your staff worse, which in turn, makes your customers worse.

    Pros

Good money if your a server. 25 hours a week and make 33,000 a year.

    Cons

Awful management. Will never let you have a day off you want. My sister was getting married and they had a huge problem for giving me the day off. Doesn't care about hard work they only care about who their friends are. Managers are never on the same page. Stuff changes all the time and they never tell you anything. Always out of everything which makes you look awful to tables. Management can get hired without any management experience and it reflects on their work.

    Advice to Management

Hire people with management degrees not just whose a good bartender.

    Pros

Nothing. Well, I learned a lot of songs that I like from the music that would play on the radio.

    Cons

Internal Management Pay There is high unethical treatment of their employees. It's very sad.

    Advice to Management

Treat your staff like decent humans.

    Pros

Tipped income, camaraderie between coworkers who have shared experience at the company

    Cons

Management were rude and unprofessional, regularly yelling out loud at staff, deriding them, and causing a ridiculous amount of stress. Benefits were nonexistent. Schedules were irregular and often involve going in for a 2 hour shift before being sent home.

    Advice to Management

Relax. Actively create a better work culture by offering better work schedules and training managers to handle stress better

    Pros

    Hours when you get them.

    Cons

Being treated like your an idiot over small correctable mistakes(such as a dish that was to go but accidentally played for In-house.Certain chefs acting dramatic and slamming stuff around when they get upset. Real negative attitude for most of the employees who work back of house. Improper training or lack of,Throw you a wok book and expect to to know everything immediately. Being questioned as if your in an interrogation. Work 2-3 doubles in a row with no break or even a chance to eat. There's something not right with the place as the turnover rate is insane but it's rather simple solution. Stop treating your employees the way you do.

    Advice to Management

Chefs need to stop treating their employees like they are all idiots and maybe the turnout rate won't be so bad.
