Pros – Fellow employees are a great group of people. Easy to work with, fun to be around, and a group of hard workers.
Cons – Risk of layoff during the winter months due to the road construction season. Very hard to move up within the company once you become good at a particular job.
Advice to Senior Management – Management needs to be more supportive of employees who want to move up in their careers or change job titles.

Former Employee – worked at PB
Pros – Great projects, very good people there. I was in a group that did a very good job sharing work across geographic and/or discipline boundaries. Great job developing junior staff.
Cons – At times, too many bureaucratic and political pressures; long hours and tight deadlines seemed to persist more than at some other firms.
Advice to Senior Management – As a PB alum, I've found that the grass isn't greener on the other side. Some of the initiatives that the firm, and in particular the office I was in, definitely made the firm a great place to be. With the firm's recent acquisition, I would hope that the corporate culture is retained.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
