Great opportunity for those willing to put in the effort and can learn the industry.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsCo-workers are friendly, management is very relaxed and will work with you to make you successful, unlimited salary potential if you have a knack to sell, great networking opportunities if you are looking to move up in the industry, lots of prizes and free company outings.

ConsSometimes can be frustrating when things don't land your way, sales support not always helpful, the first 6 months are hard and you will not make much more than your base salary.

Advice to Senior ManagementRemember that not everyone operates and learns the same way. It's best to cater to the individual in hopes of having the most successful sales reps.

    Not For Everyone!

Account Manager (Former Employee) Merrimack, NH

ProsThe saying over worked and underpaid doesn't apply here. They take the time to train you, along with decent compensation, and benefits.

ConsOnce your a couple weeks in, criticism is an everyday thing from managers that care nothing less than making money for themselves. A lot of the staff is very judgmental, almost a high school setting with the amount of back talk that occurs within the company. If you're not making sales goals, they will do whatever they can to break you. They have a horrific turnover rate, anyone there that works for the company for more than 2 years can tell you that. If you're not someone that can handle cold calling, it is not the place for you. Once within the company, you will hear from all the veterans, PCC is either for you, or not.

Advice to Senior ManagementWork with your staff more, and maybe you'll have employees that respect you, and you should probably start drug testing, its not a clean environment once you meet everyone.

Great if you want to work hard but very old school

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsIncredible momentum. The company is growing like crazy and taking market share from its competitors. They also invest a lot back into the onsite resources

ConsVery old school. They resist change in the workplace as much as they possibly can. This job is not for you if you don't like to work hard all day.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmbrace change, treat your employees like responsible adults and they will be happier and work harder.

Fun place to work, but not for average performers

Account Manager (Former Employee) Marlborough, MA

ProsFree lunches several times a week, an employee purchase program, great benefits, a decent base salary, you learn a lot about the IT industry.

ConsOften dealing with inter office politics, management can be rigid at times, they don't do much in the way of marketing so you have to market the company yourself to land accounts.

Advice to Senior ManagementProgress to catch up to competitors offerings is very slow, expedite the growth of the line card and put a serious focus on increasing your your authorizations.

Great Company to work for if you can stand sitting in a cube and cold calling all day.

Account Manager (Former Employee) Merrimack, NH

Prosprizes, food, outings, good training program, their is potential to make very good money however need to be there for a long time because beginning pay is not enough to live off of

Consmonitored dials and outgoing talk time instead of total talk time and you're in a cube all day. Accounts of employee's leaving are given to favorites instead of those who deserve them sometimes

Advice to Senior Managementinstead of outgoing talk time look at total talk time, spread accounts more than just one team when people leave the company

    Good place

Account Manager (Current Employee) Merrimack, NH

ProsThis company has a work hard and play have mentality. Any time I have needed time off they are flexible as long as you are meeting retirements.

ConsIn the beginning you can expect long hours, and lots of cold calling. Although you are calling folks that will most likely need your service and products.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere are a few different career paths to get to management, you can start as an AM go to sales manager, then senior sales manager, and the dir so on and so forth.

Solid company with great co-workers in a stressful industry

    Sales Account Manager (Current Employee)

Proswork hard and you can get handsomely compensated
    long tenured employees
work with the right Sales Managers and Directors and you can get a lot of support

ConsSeparated departments who don't understand that what they do affects others
    Lack of communication to Sales
Slow to accept industry changes like remote working

Advice to Senior ManagementThere are lots of you and sometimes it is still difficult to get someone to listen because you are always in meetings. Senior management is sometimes out of touch with what sales is up against just to get orders out the door.
