    Pros

Project teams were small and had a lot of interaction that allowed us to resolve issues quickly. You had time to decompress after going through scheduling crunch times. Office staff generally got along well and did a lot of social activities together.

    Cons

Didn't feel we were always told the full story on our group's program strategy. Maybe it was due to the changing market. Schedules were unrealistic without any contingencies.

    Pros

PMC makes it extremely easy to connect with other employees at remote sites, and it really feels like working side by side, no matter where you are located
The engineer in the APPS groups are quite simply the best ones for that job

    Cons

PMC does not build on its strengths
The higher the manager position, the more disconnected from projects' reality
Perks, benefits and salary not competitive ithin the industry

    Advice to Management

PMC is missing a real feedback channel to higher management
Not much sense in trying to hire more/better people if you can't keep the ones you already have

    Pros

More responsibility is given based on ones interest, otherwise you were not considered. Basically if you are proactive then you are projected properly and lots of room to grow.

    Cons

Not everyone can be proactive, if you are not you will not be given enough importance to grow. Which is very bad if one is not proactive. More driven by customers which should not be the criteria, rather have a strong product and attract the customers...

    Advice to Management

Please update standards of salaries as per the market.

    Pros

smart and friendly engineers, get to learn and implement leading edge technology, salary and compensation package is competitive, options to transfer to different departments or teams so that you could experience and learn new skills in your career, most managers acknowledge hard work and results, everyone is approachable and is treated with respect

    Cons

re-org and layoffs too often, management lacks vision and execution, employee morale is poor, need more team building events, marketing team is unfocused and lacks experience

    Advice to Management

focus focus focus, need to clearly define your roadmap and what are your "differences" to the competition
