Great place to work if you plan on having a career in the banking industry

Bank Teller (Current Employee) Baltimore, MD

ProsThe management that I've worked with have been very accommodating of employees' lives outside of work, the customers are generally very cordial and fun to talk to, and there is a lot of upward mobility. It's a wonderful place to build business and personal relationships with the community. The quality of your experience there will definitely depend on the people you work with.

ConsThere is relatively low pay and incredibly stringent sales goals to meet. Oftentimes, there is poor communication between district managers and the branches they work with. There also tends to be pretty high turnover, as many people are just looking for work while they go to school.

    Very easy going

    Intern (Current Employee) Pittsburgh, PA

ProsEveryome is very friendly and open. Trainig was substantial. Management always received and appreciated comments and complaints.

ConsIt felt very difficult to move up the chain. People were slightly anti-social, for the lack of a better word.

PNC is a great company with opportunity to advance.

Relationship Manager (Former Employee) Cleveland, OH

ProsThe team leaders are genuinely concerned about your training and job performance.
The pay is probably commensurate with comparable banks.

ConsThe hiring process is too long. Mine took nearly 90 days from first contact to offer letter.
You need to be in your present position for at least one year in order to be considered for another position.

Advice to Senior ManagementStreamline the hiring process.

    Great Company for Work/Life Balance

Business Systems Analyst (Current Employee) Cleveland, OH

ProsVery great work/life balance, work from home opportunities, paid vacation, great benefits, etc.

ConsDepending on the group, a lot of things are left up to manager discretion. Some management is a bit too traditional when it comes to dealing with millenials, so they need to work on that learning curve a bit.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn how to manage youth (millenials)
