    Pros

If you have good relationship with a scribers and get business you have a job. Sell enough service and you could be promoted.

    Cons

Push for business. At all costs. Thousands of miles on personal car. Produce quickly or else. Little useful training and focus on tactics that felt it bordered on badgering physicians.

    Pros

A few good people. None who are in a particular position of leadership.

    Cons

Imagine a place where upper management sit in their offices or attends meetings all day, and blissfully aware underlings work their butts off for low wages and little to no recognition, fearful of impending lay-offs. Their turnover rate is ridiculous. They laid off hundreds, fired hundreds and gave a few in upper management generous retention bonuses. The "culture" doesn't exist. It's like someone took NBC's the office and put it in a blender with the film "Office Space" and a "Dilbert" comic strip at low speed for 30 seconds.

    Advice to Management

Stay where you are. Having you all in one place, ensures that I will never have to work under you again. However , the ship is sinking and you all will make a mass exodus soon enough.

    Pros

Most of the cubed employees are great to work with. A few of the middle management are great to work with. The Japanese are very respectful, very nice.

    Cons

Office culture is the worst I have ever experienced. Upper management is terrible. They pay little to no attention to their staff, not even a "Good morning" as they sail past. Huge turnover as employees are not happy at this company. There is no reward for job well done. The management uses fear tactics to control the employees. Micro-managing is at it's worst. No trust in employees.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and you will find that they will be loyal. You hired them so have trust that they can do their jobs efficiently. Boost morale by pasting a genuine smile on your face and say "thank you" when you ask for something and it is received.

    Pros

Nice location for Corporate HQ in Novato. Nice office space in HQ.

    Cons

The four words I would use to describe Pacific Pulmonary’s culture are: myopic, draconian, provincial and impoverished. I estimate line and mid-management staff are paid 20-25% below the general labor market. Teams are stretched so thin that salaried people work 10-12 hours a day and rarely take vacations. Director level and above staff, however, appear to work eight hours a day. There is tremendous hypocrisy between what management requires of staff and how they themselves perform. IT infrastructure is outdated and help desk support is non-existent. There is no orientation program, no on boarding program and no one has any bandwidth to even take on those functions and roles informally. Everything is trial and error and hunt and peck learning. Management takes a command and control style approach to managing because they have nothing positive to offer staff to incentivize and motivate them, so they resort to more negative approaches to keep people at their desks and working. Friends and acquaintances that applied to and interviewed for positions there are not communicated with appropriately in the process. As one friend of mine said who interviewed there, “I was not impressed.” Also worth mentioning, there’s a revolving door (not a surprise), low morale (understatement) and the fact that people don’t really talk to each other at all.

    Advice to Management

Get into 21st Century management practices. Open your eyes, ears, minds and hearts. If the business can't be saved then close it down with some compassion. If it is to be saved it is because you stopped treating your staff like assembly line workers in the 19th century and started treating them like the creative talented contributors so many of them are.

The pros are that the tech are good people but upper management was just trying to treat employees and patients bad. they only care if medicare gets on to them and they are in trouble with the feds.

    Cons

Company is in trouble so they don't know what to do but lie and screw you. no chance of advancement and training was bad.

    Advice to Management

management do something instead of lie and mistreat employees

    Pros

Laid back, good equipment, Great employees.

    Cons

They only take a few insurance companies which handcuffs Sales team and lessens chances of landing more ACCTS. They don't back their employees. On the lower end of pay scale. They have you do your own reviews and rarely give a 4% raise. This year they didn't give raises! Customer Service not given enough proper training to succeed. Patients think they are a joke. They pass up fully qualified employees for career advancement for outside recruits with no relevant work history(happened to 3 of my friends, not me). They were raided by FBI in 2011 and the employees were never told the status of what happened, all swept under rug.

    Advice to Management

Back your employees, after all they did get through your background check and 3-4 interviews and drug screen.
