    Pros

Lots of opportunities for strong performers. They always look to hire internally where possible. Successful company with good eye on staff morale. Nice office in a good location

    Cons

You do have to work hard. You won't get paid for things like overtime and you will be expected to go the extra mile sometimes

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Paddy Power as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Great staff nights out & well communicated company. Well structured induction and training for new employees, with refresher training throughout.

    Cons

Late hours during summer racing. Managers sometimes are not trained adequately in managing their teams, this should perhaps be an area that is looked at for future development.

I have been working at Paddy Power full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

As per the title, people are friendly and approachable. I find most people are really positive and optimistic about the company, but some of the "old guard" can be very cynical and nostalgic for the chaotic company of old. Company has switched in the last few years to Agile, and it's an immense improvement.

    Cons

Too many people pulling in different directions - sometimes it feels that there in't a big picture.
Traffic can be really bad around Clonskeagh.
Rating system being introduced is controversial.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create and communicate a vision, and share it with everyone. Stop living from financial quarter to financial quarter.
