I have been working at Panduit

    Pros

Great experience working at Panduit. Started as an intern and have been learning more and more each day. Great support, good group of co-workers and managers.

    Cons

Technical products in an evolving industry. It is essential to keep an eye on industry trends and to also understand the markets that affect our business.

I have been working at Panduit full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Hard work pays off here - if you put in the effort and bring good ideas to the table you will get noticed and rewarded.
Good opportunities for women - it's about what you get done, not your gender
    Fair pay, good benefits
Company has always been fair to me when I needed family time

    Cons

Expected to put in hours - face time is valued but not really any different at other companies I have worked for

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More formal program for ideas and innovation - it can be tricky to navigate

I have been working at Panduit

    Pros

Great company for encouraging growth. If you are a hard worker and push yourself the right managers notice. Fun dynamic group of people I work with that make work life entertaining and enjoyable 90% of the time.

    Cons

There are some managers that it is questionable how they got to their position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you don't have a degree, it doesn't mean the person isn't qualified for the job.

I have been working at Panduit full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

I have been with the company for four months now and the change that is taking place is very exciting. The management here is very open to suggestions for improvement and change. I'm not hearing that old phrase "that's how we've always done it." Instead I'm hearing, "Those are great ideas. Lets get them implemented!"
The people I work with are very helpful and the projects I am working on make me feel fulfilled.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is that there is not a "work-from-home" policy. This is one of those changes that will need to take place in the near future to attract talent to the suburbs. I strongly feel that this will take place soon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to stay open minded and embrace change as you have.

I worked at Panduit as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly and knowledgeable people. Good management structure. Innovative team. Worked as consultant and was good environment to share information. Seemed to be lots of opportunity to work on new technologies and manager was open to suggestions.

    Cons

Sometimes product releases took longer than anticipated to release.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the open lines going with the employees.

I worked at Panduit full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, flexible hours, friendly employees very open to helping/teaching

    Cons

Easy to confuse products when I wasn't familiar with them

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A more standard method of teaching the basics of types of products (basic overview in the form of a digital handbook, PowerPoint slides, etc.)

I worked at Panduit part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Very transparent management for even low level team members.

    Cons

Shift changes or time off requests can sometimes be unpredictable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be great to have a more fleshed out internship/hire-within program. Panduit has always done very well hiring from within, but they could benefit from more of a tiered approach vs. "Hey we tend to hire from within… you should try to apply!"

I have been working at Panduit part-time

    Pros

At Panduit you get roughly 2 weeks vacation per year to start. 5 paid sick days and good health benefits. Overall very friendly atmosphere to work and great pay.

    Cons

nature of work is rather boring and monotonous, depending on the shift, management tends to talk down to the employees. Otherwise overall there is not much that can be said about this company on the negative side.
