I have been working at Papa John's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

You can listen to your own music and do your own thing as you make your deliveries. In my current area I make pretty good tips per delivery, so if it's a busy night I do well.

    Cons

You depend on tips and you have to do cleaning work like dishes, sweeping, and mopping. You also have to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There's absolutely no method of feedback to employees. I have no idea if I'm meeting expectations or not. There should be coachings or some sort of way to give feedback.

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, easy work. I was part time while in school and it was great for me. Delivering is fun because you get out of the store and listen to music all night in your car.

    Cons

Low pay for in store jobs.
Inconsistent pay when delivering because it's based on tips.
Every thing you wear to work, and your car, will smell like pizza.

    I worked at Papa John's

    Pros

It was a fairly easy job, really easy to get, they asked for my driving record and insurance. You can make a good amount being a delivery driver with no tip outs

    Cons

It sucked working friday nights, saturday nights and the Super bowl. I never got any time off for those days

    Pros

Papa John's Pizza is a pretty fun place to come in to work. The work pace can be fast for anybody.

    Cons

Papa John's Pizza can be a slow place to work on some days. There are other times that the work is a frantic pace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Organize the restaurant better.

  7.

For me the best part about working for Papa John's was the ability to move up thru the ranks.

I have been working at Papa John's

    Pros

great people, great boss, very easy work. nothing too complicated

    Cons

because of their commitment to make sure no pizza gets there too late, there is an over abundance of drivers on staff at all times, which cuts down on tips that any one driver can make. kind of silly. four or five less drivers on some shifts would still get the job done well.

    I worked at Papa John's

    Pros

High paying tips in good areas, the people you work with are mostly nice.

    Cons

only two uniforms issued, must pay for uniforms, zero water fountains, below minimum wage on the road, no insurance company will cover you while driving, if you get in an accident they will fire you, the computers you use are beyond old and so is the software like literally 1995, no such thing as a raise, secret shops are a waste of time!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

secret shops are a waste of time and productivity! pay your employees more, you can afford it!

    Pros

This company stays up-to-date on technology. Efficient, flexibility, team atmosphere, decent salary

    Cons

Lack of opportunities within the organization. The IT department, is smaller so the advancement opportunities are not as often as a larger company.
