    Pros

Decent pay, nice benefits and time off, multiple locations, advancement opportunities, travel for training, meet lots of people.

    Cons

The company is not unified through processes. Management is evasive and hesitant to provide clear communications of their plans and roll outs of new policies. The environment is constantly changing and it is often unbeneficial to the employees. Their vision is hard to follow and recognition for duties performed is weak and not based on the individual.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the employees. So much effort is put into changing the company and restructuring that the employees are left with little incentive and support from their supervisors. There was always a clear pressure on supervisors and management to ensure their teams meet unrealistic goals that real recognition lacked.

    Pros

The people are fun to work with. We have a lot of fun and there's free soda and other drinks in the fridge.

    Cons

The management doesn't really appreciate the hard work that employees put in. They will only hire and promote friends rather than qualified candidates.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your employees don't feel like numbers on a page.

    Pros

Very good income opportunity. Also, they provide fantastic sales training. A skill set that can be carried forward to any position. You'll meet a lot of businesses.

    Cons

It's hunter sales. One and done. No relationship building. I had difficulties in my region with the product that was sold - the service behind it wasn't up to par, and the management support wasn't there so well.

    Advice to Management

better alignment of service delivered to product sold.

    Pros

I was nice to train in Rochester for the first three months. The training was kind of inadequate but I really loved Rochester. The pay rate was very good.

    Cons

The apps they have are very complex in the business domain. There were just a few that were truly knowledgable. Some were willing to share, others not so much. Each team had wildly different personalities and approaches to their projects.

    Advice to Management

While I worked well with all of the teams but one, I never felt I could go to management with my problems in order to avoid backlash from fellow team members.

    Pros

Contests, bonuses, fun, easy products to sell

    Cons

Competitive environment, everyone is out for themselves, territory too small, sales policy Forces rep to give up relationships just because referral source moved to a new location

    Advice to Management

Come up with a better plan to keep top talents.

    Pros

Excellent training and opportunity for the right person.

    Cons

Those in the rural areas can be left behind in support from management. Make sure extremely driven, experienced, and independent individuals are in these positions or have management come out and stay several days versus stopping in a 1/2 day once or twice a month

    Pros

Clearly articulated vision, "3 Billion in 5 years". To have a vision that is well understood by everyone in the company is rare and something to be celebrated, even if missed.

    Cons

Too strict in role definitions. Cannot go outside what your job title is. This is very stifling. Also some people's entire jobs are around non-value add process. And you can't change them because then you are basically cutting someone's job. I also wish they would get rid of some people. Keeping deadweight encourages mediocrity.

    Advice to Management

Layoffs are not in the culture, I get that. But now there is a culture of complacency and mediocrity. You can see the tech perspective starting to take over but if you really want to attract the best and the brightest, expect more from your current employees.
