    Pros

Great atmosphere, culture, and company. I have work-life balance, and I can be as involved as I choose with after work activities they offer (such as bowling league, free gym, yoga, golf club, etc). Friendly people, and opportunity for growth - I also believe that our product is awesome, and it gives me that "feel good vibe" knowing that we are helping other companies and their employees.

    Cons

Only con I can think of is that we are growing so fast that there is construction on our second gym and 3rd building- I can't keep my car clean on the outside from the construction dust and Oklahoma wind!

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! I am a happy camper!

    Pros

I love my job as an outside sales rep at Paycom. After years as a sales manager in other industries, I feel so fulfilled in a position where I can be competitive in a fun team environment, and where I know the hard work I put in will pay off. I believe strongly in a meritocracy, and love the passion and dedication of the people I work with.

    Cons

It does take some time to become successful- you need to be open and committed to intense and ongoing training, be willing to put some time into building your own base and your reputation, and have faith that this company will honestly reward you more with every day of honest, loyal and earnest performance.

    Pros

You know it the minute you meet your sales team, manager and start training that this is something different. For a long time I had looked for a company that could develop me as a professional and help me in building financial success. That was very hard to find, so when I saw the culture and success at Paycom I knew it was a special place! I just finished training and can say that sales training at Paycom is elite, think of it as the Harvard of Sales. Chief Sales Officer, Jeff York and Director of Sales Training, Jessica Melo are an inspiration! And I'm so happy I am part of the Paycom team. Wish I would have made the change sooner!

    Cons

Training was so great! Wish it was longer so we could absorb more!

    Advice to Management

Give Jess a pat on the back! She is priceless.

The culture is amazing. You work hard and at times long hours but everyone is genuinely happy to be there, helping our customers. The salary and the earning potential is insane; it really pushes you to do your best and work hard. I love the location; love my new city.

    Cons

None that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

Continue to make the focus of the company it's workforce and it's commitment to serving our clients at a very high rate of customer care and being of value to them.

I don't know of another company that provides the opportunity to create massive amounts of success as quickly as you can at Paycom. There are very seldom companies that will compensate you on the level that Paycom will. The culture of the company is also incredible. Offices and corporate alike are constantly motivating us sales reps to succeed at an amazing level and providing the leadership to do so. Corporate executives are also personally involved in the training of new reps.

    Cons

Not necessarily a con, but be prepared to learn a vast amount of information on HR, Payroll, Health Benefits, ACA, and Finance in a very short period of time. Don't worry though, there is weekly on-going training on every aspect of the company and our product.

Working at paycom has been the absolute best opportunity I could have asked for, especially coming straight out of college. First off, compensation is the best in the game. Starting off at $50k per year with uncapped commission and a great commission structure was amazing. There's also milestones that will allow you to increase that base to well over $100k. In other words, this is my first year in my first job and I'm confident I'll be making well over 6 figures this year. Other than compensation, the culture is absolutely incredible!! While the work is challenging, I am so excited to get up and go to work every day. My team is made up of the most genuine, motivated, optimistic people I have ever met. Also, in sales you are actually trained at our corporate office by our CSO, the co founder of the company. I'm not exaggerating when I say everyone at the leadership level genuinely cares about each employee's business goals and even personal goals. The position is not a normal sales representative position. You are a true executive working as a human capital consult to ceo's, CFOs, and business owners. It is extremely empowering to know how big of an impact I've had on my client's businesses. The opportunity for growth is endless. Leaderships asks you your goals right when you start and do everything they can to set you up to reach those goals. Also, they ONLY promote from within!! In other words....you would be crazy to not try to get a job here.

    Cons

I wouldn't even consider this a con, but the interview process is definitely tough. Don't expect to coast through it. You have to come in for a 4 hour phone canvassing session where you will be expected to make appointments. It's challenging, but a great way to get a feel for what you'll be doing. The hours during the first month of training are tough...it's a lot of work. They joke saying "it's like getting an MBA in 4 weeks", which it truly is. Expect to be challenged and maybe a little stressed but it truly makes sure you are prepared for the position and sets you up for success. After your first few months, your hours won't be as crazy but don't expect to get off earlier than 5 on a Friday (maybe exactly at 5 if you're lucky) but like I said, this a true executive position...not your average entry level sales This job is not easy. It's hard work. However, you are more than rewarded for the hard work you put in. It is 100% what you make it. If you put in the work to learn the process, the success will roll in before you know it.

    Advice to Management

    More casual Fridays :)

    Pros

I was lucky enough to have been hired by Paycom and I can say that I can't imagine working anywhere else. From my first day, I have felt like I've know my coworkers and bosses for years. I look forward to Mondays now because I know I am going to have a great week. I can easily say that this is the best job I have ever had.

    Cons

Although this is not a deal breaker, I would say that the Health Care is a big Con. It is very expensive if you are not single. My raise in salary I got from coming to Paycom was essentially wiped out due to the monthly reduction to pay for health care for my family. Also the PTO is a little behind the times.

    Pros

I am relatively new to the company, but already there are many PROS that stick out: financial stability, massive growth rate, the ability to work for an established tech company in Oklahoma (certainly a better choice than oil and gas in my humble opinion), amazing benefits, work hard/play hard culture, still has ground floor/smaller company feel, competitive pay, excellent upward mobility, and the people that work here are quality human beings.

    Cons

No glaring CONS yet. The speed at which work gets done sometimes can feel blindingly fast, so perhaps that aspect isn't for everyone.

    Advice to Management

Keep driving forward with strong leadership and a focus on innovation. As we grow, it will be imperative that we continue to diversify ourselves and our business strategies, and find more ways to work "smarter," not just "harder." Continue to try to keep a focus on work/life balance. You have amazing people that do amazing things!

    Pros

Great culture, especially at the Corporate office! Amazing managers that help you achieve your goals - not only professionally, but personally! We have amazing an amazing C-Level suite that pushes everyone to be successful! Compensation for most departments is the best within the industry and especially the market.

    Cons

PTO time TL and above training that continue to get rescheduled can be discouraging, but I know our management is very busy!

    Advice to Management

Keep scheduled training for all employees! Be sure we are competitive within the industry for all positions, not just most of them with pay. Paycom is an amazing company and I know that the future is very bright! Keep push all departments to be successful and do the best that they can be!

    Pros

I started working at Paycom a little over a year ago. When I was contacted by a recruiter about making the switch from my (previous) company, I was extremely hesitant because of the success I was having in my second year there. After a phone call with the recruiter, and what seemed to be an opportunity as many would describe as almost "too good to be true", I went into the local Paycom office to interview with the sales manager. My interview experience was phenomenal all the way through the final interview I had with the Chief Sales Officer which all played a factor in my decision making to leave a place where I worked for over two years to join a growing office in an entirely different industry. I could not be happier with my choice. The culture at Paycom is unlike anything I see from any friends or family members' places of work which stems from senior leadership. It's talked about all of the time that executing on your goals should ultimately lead you to having a full, abundant life. You can absolutely have a work-life balance and accomplish anything you ever dreamed of doing. Paycom is a company that rewards you on your results. There are no politics in the company whatsoever - it is entirely based around fairness to provide every single person the exact same opportunity as anyone else. Fast career growth is possible - but up to YOU to make it happen. The compensation that is discussed during interviews is very real and unheard of at other companies.

    Cons

Like any sales position, this is not an 8-5 type of position. Be prepared for some days with later hours and additional work you'll have to do from home. You can absolutely have a work life balance, however there will be times that you are going to have more things on your plate requiring your attention in order to get everything done. I guarantee every second of work you put in is an investment to your future and will be well worth it in the end.
