    Pros

Pepsi is a great place to work if you can handle the random abuse, and lack of consistency with coworkers and management

Crappy hours, great pay, okay benefits. Some days are better than others. You definitely look forward to your days off

    Advice to Management

Worry about the little people. They give your job purpose and on a bad day, they could really make your life hard

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Pepsi Bottling full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - BIG name company BIG name brands - great exposure to higher ups - out on the field all day instead of being stuck in an office - great opportunities to go to major league sporting events - great employees - SOME managers know what they are doing/are organized

    Cons

    - Because it is so big, it can be very easy to get lost in it all - Needs more structure/training - Could be more organized - Manager roles are not exactly what you had in mind - Can be a lot more physical work than you expect - Compensation is not very good especially compared to similar companies - Hard to move up/around

    Advice to Management

Really train the people coming in and make some serious changes to the "managerial" roles. For being such a large company, there should be a lot more structure and organization. I can't say this enough!! I know that they are just now starting to implement a rotational position but up until this point, movement has been very difficult to come by. Hopefully this master plan works.
