How do they recognize a good worker when they fire potential good workers left and right.

    Shipping (Current Employee) Marion, IL

ProsThe hours 8-5 are great hours to work. It is a pretty relaxed environment too.

ConsSome potential employees have to enter the company in a entry level department. Some but not all workers here are burnt out on training so good luck receiving good quality training if you get one of these people.

Advice to Senior ManagementTo prevent burnout from a potentially good worker, have only one or two people train and have this be their main job unless there is no one to train at the time. Care!! Until proven wrong by the employee, give people a chance to prove themselves, monitor whats going on with new hires, don't just sit in your office all day.

    Pepsi MidAmerica needs new management

Sales Representative (Current Employee) Effingham, IL

ProsThe best part about working for Pepsi MidAmerica is the fact that the company is such a well-developed trademark and is admired by most of the other companies. The work is pressureless and the schedule is made by you. You do not have someone breathing over your neck telling you what to do.

ConsThe management never lets you know what to do, while getting upset when you do something "that is not in the job description." You determine your own schedule, but they can tell you to travel to different towns to do extra work whenever they feel necessary. Yea

Not a good place to be

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsIs very good work experience for a resume builder. That is about it

Consupper management is terrible. Big disconnect between everyone.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave more open communication with employees. The use of "fear for you job" doesn't work. Too much of a show when upper management comes to town.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
