    Pros

Good company culture still very paternalistic. A large company with still a "family feeling" to it. Good work-life balance. Great industry. Great people that are nice to work with for the most part.

    Cons

Promotions are still based on who you know and the promotions are not very frequent. Most of the GMs are still from finance and lack real marketing experience - which is the real challenge of the company in order to generate internal growth with existing brands. A lot of trial and error in terms of digital and innovation strategy - lack a strong vision for each of the strategic brands.

    Advice to Management

Need a strong CMO from outside the organization as it enters into a new era with Alexandre Ricard as the new CEO. Even if decentralization is a core value, to build truly global passion brands, the company will need to have a stronger vision for its brands. What worked in the past will not necessarily work for the future.

    Pros

Great benefits. Good 401k, company car etc...

    Cons

Work life balance is very low in life and heavy with work. Frowned on to have apersonal life in the evenings.

    Advice to Management

Work life balance needs to be better.

    Pros

The fiscal compensation is near average for the area, but not exceptional. The facilities and work atmosphere are clean and up to date. Product allotment is fair.

    Cons

Work life balance is difficult to maintain. There is a very large, unstated, push to work many hours of overtime for salaried employees.

    Advice to Management

A little bit of positive encouragement goes a long way, and is worth the time.

    Pros

    Excellent corporate culture, continuous training

    Cons

Excessive bureaucracy, not enough independence in the decision making process, making the company slow moving in a constantly changing environment.

    Advice to Management

More time spent in the trade, less time spent on presentations, budget meetings, 3 year plans.

    Pros

An excellent culture and work-life balance. People oriented, very relaxed work environment. Very friendly people wouldn't surprise me if you met some of your closest friends while working here.

    Cons

Really low salaries compared to the industry. There's little room to grow, no career plans! Basically what sucks are the salaries, everything else it's pretty great.

    Advice to Management

Start paying competitive salaries, start betting on your employees, stop looking for talent outside and enhance what you already have.
