They do not treat their employees well at all

Programmer Analyst (Former Employee) Stanford, CA

ProsTheir lawyers were all VERY friendly, and never said a bad word.

    ConsThere were a lot.
      - at least 2 law suits for back pay.
     - Management was mostly by intimidation - If a good Mgr would not intimidate they left. And I saw them try this intimidation methods used on a Veteran. He realized how petty everything there was - and left loss of a good employee
    - They never seemed to know where they were going - So they would step on "it"

Only stayed 'cause out-sourced by Stanford and was maintaining the same app and users

Advice to Senior ManagementThe place was a waste of good people

    Undervalued

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsAllowed me to learn new functions in the begining of my career with them.

ConsAt the end of my career not allowed to cross function new tasks related to position.
Racist issues arose and instead of fixing the issue, the person was moved to a different team.

Advice to Senior ManagementValue current employees and allow room for growth this should be throughout the employees career not only as a new employee. Fix racist issues by having a no tolerance policy not by moving the problem elsewhere.

    Know what your getting into

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Plano, TX

ProsIt is an interesting place to work a lot of interseting projects and to work on. My coworkers are generally very nice people and easy to deal with directly. They have a mission oriented attitude and plan and are driven to succed.

ConsWhile my coworkers are nice on a personal level, the internal management polices and practices make it a very difficult place to work. They treat everyone like a temp employee. Your job hangs on the whims of the clients. If a client doesn't like you for any reason your gone. This is spun as having a no bench policy, that enables them to be a lean efficent company. The reality is that is a policy that only benifits the corperate bottom line and is used a tool for controling employees by reminding them that they will be gone tomorrow if the don't tow the line and produce. So, if you comfortable in a very political enviroment where there is not a lot of security it is a nice place to work. I would not recommend it for most people.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop treating people as office supplies. They can't be replaced as easily as a printer cartridge.
