    Pros

I'm learning a lot of things, mainly microsoft office stuff. The salary was low, but now is good, and benefits too. They pay transport and food.

    Cons

We cant stay on the company after 6 months of internship, because they have to give the opportunity for others.

    Pros

At Petrobras, you get a lot of trainning, there are a lot of perks. You know you can have a long career there. People are nice there too.

    Cons

As a Software Engineer in a non Software Company, you have more to guarantee that the systems are working well for users (people that actually make the money) than to create new tools. Too many times you are learning about new software bought by Company, too few you are creating new software.

    Pros

Work/personal life balance. Start early and leave early invariably.

    Cons

Doesn't have a design and software development culture. Very bureaucratic. People give more importance to indicators than to actually delivering quality projects. Employee/contract staff dichotomy.

    Advice to Management

Change the way productivity is evaluated. Numbers and indicators don't say everything. People know how to get their way through them and the company suffers from it. Badly executed projects and lazy professionals that don't feel motivated to perform good work.

    Pros

    Main pros: stability and trainings.

    Cons

    Main cons: bureaucracy and salary.

    Advice to Management

Geophysicists receive a very low salary, despite the great importance of the same for the company. In addition, there is a policy to go against the interests of the workplace of geophysical junior (even if there is vacancy in such workplace).

    Pros

    Stability
    Very interesting and big projects
Excellent wage for undergrads and Good wage for manager positions
Possibility (not likely though) to work in several places in Brazil

    Cons

Extremely slow/bureaucratic in every sense (both career , HR, and company rithym overall)
Not a meritocratic company at all
Many people not willing to work and some other working hard
Wage may be bad during some time/career position

    Advice to Management

Cut a bit of blabla and get faster -> money is the name of the game and REAL meritocacy is the only way to achieve results.

    Pros

    Slow pace, salaries paid rigorously,

    Cons

Work to technical and specific, not incentives for contracted professionals, low salaries.

    Advice to Management

Treat contracted professionals with more care: they are the ones actually carrying the piano.
