“Drop the residency restriction”
Current Employee – been working at Philadelphia Gas Works
Pros – Plenty of experienced (in the industry) people to learn from.
Offer and pay for almost any type of training if related to you employment.
Cons – Residency (must live in the city of Philadelphia)
Low salary compared to others.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop restricting the quality of potential employess by requiring that they live inside the city.
