I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    1 hour unpaid lunch break

    Cons

19k after taxes, terrible managment, the hours were from 10-7, stressful, no room for growth, expected to purchase clothes from Ralph Lauren and wear at all times despite not being given an allowance or any type of assistance. Desperate for new employees and will hire the most unqualified people to work there. Management favors the top seller in the store and will treat everyone else poorly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please hire 16-18 year old teenagers because these are the only type of people who can afford to make such little being a sales associate.

I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren

    Pros

Discounts at company, discounts for other businesses, free shuttle between NYC/NJ for commuters, a lot of volunteering events

    Cons

Awful management, HR is helpless, very stuck up and snobby work enviornment, long work hours, awful pay increases annually, only way to make decent salary increases is by switching departments or positions

I have been working at Polo Ralph Lauren as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

paid dinner and car service for overnights, really good competitive pay, great positive team of people.

    Cons

Consider how much work is being given to a small team of people. Especially for visuals. It'd be better to hire more people for the teams rather than constantly using freelancers with a lack of information given to them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve upon work life balance
