    Pros

    Its small so everyone knows each other and the hours are great and with little travel and great environment

    Cons

    The pay isn't that good especially against the competition and for what you do and also there is no room for job advancement.

    Raise the starting salary if you want to keep your engineers

    The workers are friendly and welcoming and all work together as a huge team

    Cons

    A lot of hand slapping from the superiors and very little uplifting

    Great place to gain experience. It's a good place to either start...or finish your career.

    Cons

    Very hard to advance here. Don't expect to be paid what you think you are worth.

    Pros

    The company is investing a lot of money in the latest technology. The business is growing steadily. The company is hiring constantly new people in manufacturing and operations.

    Cons

    A lot of Business Analyst doing the talking but don't have the technical knowledge to understand what they are talking about.
    The company doesn't value experienced people. The pay is a bit below industry standard in IT and way below industry standard in engineering. Too much politics.

    I have been working at Powell Industries

    Pros

    - Good place to work for to start your career
    - Their benefits for the employees are great
    - Pretty much laid back as long as you do your work on time

    Cons

    -Too much politics involved. You have to say "yes" to your boss to get a promotion
    -Employees are underpaid but given so much work
    -Management tries to squeeze out every penny out on everything
    -Does not recognize your achievements or giving you a decent raise when necessary
