So far, it's a good place to make a living and applied what you learned to your daily work. However, too much politics.

Good company to work for with fair benifits and wages

Plant Manager (Retired) (Former Employee) Mims, FL

ProsPraxair is a world wide compony with production facilities in all parts of the world. It is a major supplier of industrial gases oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to all forms of businesses. They have good benifits and wages, are fair to employees, with the possibility to advance in the company in your department or another . Extra training is available for employees who want to learn other areas of the business. Safety is one of the strongest points in the organization. Safety training is on going with monthly meetings and random spot checks. Annual training in Safety, Emergency procedures, Environmental procedures are completed. There is good communications between departments and people do tend to help each other out quite a bit.

Praxair does business with the government as well as indivigual companies. We are in aerospace, healthcare, steel making, power generation, food freezing, etc. I don't see the need for its products ever going away

ConsNot much if any face time with senior management unless you are upper management yourself
