    Pros

    Great Company with great culture

    Cons

Politics exists everywhere. the Woodlands is not a location I recommend.

    Advice to Management

Retain people is important. Equal oppotunity and fare treatment is important. This applies to both young and senior engineers

    Pros

Disciplined and ethical company that focuses on sustained growth. Is a good place to work for people that are looking to interface with many different industries.

    Cons

Flat organizational structure that makes rapid career advancement difficult. Career growth is steady and usually occurs through a combination of lateral and upward moves.

    Pros

Praxair is a consistently successful company with a major focus on safety. The culture is fast-paced and relatively traditional. The people are generally friendly, willing to help, and good at their jobs. The intern program is great and allows the interns to do hands-on projects and interact with people at various levels of the company. As an intern, you also interact with other interns on a group project as well as social events.

    Cons

Some of the processes are inefficient and cumbersome, but that is common in many large regulated companies. Another con is that headquarters are in Danbury, CT and a major office is in Tonawanda, NY, so if you don't want to move there your opportunities will probably be limited.
