    Pros

Schedule. Camps on site. Good equipment.

    Cons

Unsafe culture. Company policies are a joke. Training is the worst I have ever experienced. Communication is awful all around.

    Advice to Management

If you throw everyone under the bus you "might" move up.

    Pros

Schedule. Working with your brother hands.

    Cons

Back stabbing management, no respect. Safe ethic on paper only. Company policies are garbage.

    Advice to Management

Get a new job. Especially Williamsport office.

    Pros

Pay started out well, but structure changed 3 times in the 2 years i was employed there.

    Cons

Everyone and i mean everyone is out for themselves. From new hires, to hr, to regional manager up. On paper, they train you. Classes are way more of a joke. They also put walking morons as operations managers.

    Advice to Management

Key beliefs? If you even think anyone.. ANYONE, practices these out in the field, maybe you should check into a nut house. I have no respect for you as you deserve none. This company is the most phony company i have ever worked for. I did not get fired. I am not a disgruntled ex employee. I just am telling it as it is.

    Pros

Get's you into the Oil & Gas industry

    Cons

Core values are just a piece of paper
Must wait over 90 days to be eligible for health insurance
No work life balance - expect to be expected to work long hours
U.S. employees are second class to Canadian
Lack of flexibility - which prevents growth
Lack of knowledgeable management to prevent or correct problems
Lack of anonymity – retaliation against employees

    Advice to Management

Find out what your managers are doing, how they are treating their employees. Realize that in order to employee top notch personnel, you will have to pay competitive salaries.

    Pros

Everyone is very nice and encouraging. It actually makes me wonder why they're still there and why there isn't more turnover in corporate office.

    Cons

Pay is a joke. Everyone who is not in a management position is majorly underpaid as salaries are aligned with US market which is SO much lower than Canada's. Benefits are also very basic compared to what other companies in the city offer. Overall, compensation is unreasonable For the amount of work and knowledge that is expected. Of course this isn't disclosed in the interview. Overtime is required but unpaid. No flex days.

    Advice to Management

Bring up salaries to local market standards and align with living expenses. The general culture is that the field is always first and therefore, the corporate employees get the very least that management can possibly get away with offering.

    Pros

    Great benefits, and convenient location.

    Cons

Family and Friends plan - nepotism. Many upper managers lack formal education, and consequently do not value it. Inequality in pay and pay grade. Only Canadians get opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Build the talent pool with educated, high potential employees. Build for the future.

    Pros

Money. Some travel. Time off when summer comes.

    Cons

Toxic work environment. Corrupt, egocentric management. Profit comes first, people last- in fact people are disposable here. If you value your carrer decisions, be warned, the money will not compensate you if your ruined here

    Advice to Management

Internal, secret audits for lower management, and employee conduct would ferret out the corruption. Lower management reflects their own self-interests to a fault.
