    Pros

-Decent pay -Great experience -Great flexibility (work from home, etc.) -The job will look very good on your resume when you apply for other jobs.

    Cons

-long hours -monotonous tasks -schedules are very unbalanced -pay is not based on performance and review process is very unfair and not reflective of performance

    Advice to Management

-pay your high performers noticeably more than under performers. -create better balance in schedules and reward those who work hard with more perks.

    Pros

Earning potential is good. Even though I didn't stick around long enough, I heard bonuses are pretty good after busy season.

    Cons

Zero work/life balance. If you intend on having a life, this is not the company for you. Senior management doesn't know how to manage anything. They are not helpful at all, you are basically on your own for the most part, so get used to figuring things out by yourself.

    Advice to Management

Try not to make your associates work until midnight. The max should be 7pm.

    Pros

Great overall experience at the #1 accounting firm in the world. Opportunities to move within the country or even abroad. Flexibility (when you take advantage of it).

    Cons

Long hours, poor communication amongst management, unreasonable last minute assignments, anything but spectacular raises,

    Advice to Management

Improve communication! If PwC would focus on the quality of its people and in turn pay them more, I believe the firm would truly be heading in the right direction. However, poor raises combined with a solid job market means there are many opportunities out there for staff.

    Pros

Good opportunity to learn different things, rotation opportunities, can take as much time off during non-busy season

    Cons

Long hours, no life during busy season. They can send you an email over the weekend, and you have to work on it

    Advice to Management

Consider compensating the associates more for the hours they put in!!

    Pros

-Really nice and talented people to work with -Emphasis on diversity -Takes care of my cellphone bill

    Cons

-Never worked on a project that I was interested in although the company promised that they would match interests with demand. It's 95% demand based -Really hard to move across practices -The annual review process is highly subjective and bureaucratic

    Pros

great consulting practice with tools and a lot of space to learn and grow. the company is generous to the employee in terms of sick leave or emergent time-off.

    Cons

hard to get promoted. unlike other consulting firms, which follow the 2 year promotion rule, it's VERY hard to get promoted in pwc comparing to other consulting firms there are some managers and directors who are VERY hard to please and treat people with no respect

    Advice to Management

really need to go through some practices who have high turnover and see what the management is doing to drive the talents away

    Pros

Lets be honest having PwC on your resume is like gold! After that you can go pretty much anywhere in the accounting field.

    Cons

They work you so hard and the pay is not worth the hours you put in. You do this job for th possibilities not for the pay...

    Advice to Management

I am noticing a down turn in talent coming through the new classes and for those who are talented a complete abuse of them and their time. People who are abused are unhappy, people who are unhappy leave...
