Stressful, yet comparable to family understanding.

Experienced Audit Associate (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsSteady growth path, flexible work, incredible business exposure.

Cons-Work hours can be exhausting as you find yourself making up work on the weekends.
-Multiple reporting managers, with tight schedules.
-Enough work that you can never fully get "caught up", which makes your compensation seem very small (example: 2500 billable hours; Associate Salary roughly 60k (major us city); $24 an hour. 2nd/3rd year associates make $1 less an hour than interns and do not receive overtime.)

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you're going to front your company like a top-tier a finance firm, you need to either hire more people to complete the work, or improve your compensation to match the hours.

Great place to start a career!

Audit Associate (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsThe training is second to none, and the experience you gain will help you immensely with future jobs. A fantastic company to start a career with.

ConsAs is the case with any of the Big 4, you work very long hours. While the years you spend here will more than pay off, it can be difficult to balance the other areas of your life.

    Experience

Risk Assurance Associate (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsGreat, fast-paced experience with accounting, finance, business concepts and building relationships with your peers and clients. Work feels rewarding when finished with an audit, despite the inherent challenges throughout the way.

ConsLong hours, pay can be better (however this is relatively a moot point) since I think PwC compensates better (overall) than the other auditing firms out there.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
