    It's all about the people

Experienced Tax Associate (Current Employee) Boston, MA

ProsI have a flexible schedule which is great when you are putting in a lot of hours. I have worked at several places and these are the best people to work with. People are encouraging, helpful (everyone knows how hard it is when you start your first job out of college). You are also provided with many trainings, more than most companies. PwC definitely makes a point to take care of their own.

ConsDepending on your line of service, there can be tough hours and tough teams to work on. Boston has a rotation program so you are not stuck on the first team you started with when you joined the firm, so you can really get a sense of where you fit best. No matter where you end up team wise though, expect a few parts of the year to have tough hours during busy seasons. That's just an overall Big 4 accounting firm con to expect no matter where you work.

Advice to Senior ManagementI think the flexibility movement is a great one. Definitely continue along that track to allow greater work-life balance. Also, make sure to hire enough seasonals during busy seasons so people don't get burnt out.

FSA Intern (Former Employee) Boston, MA

ProsGreat exposure to financial services. There's isn't a whole lot of places where you'll be exposed to as many different industries as PwC.

Open door policies where interns can just pop into a manager or director's office for a chat.
    Can't complaint about the paid.

ConsLong hours, but then again everyone should've known when they signed up for a Big Four firm.
