I have been working at PwC full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to work with really smart people that you respect, or at least I always have. You get paid competitively and the process is very transparent. You get promotions on a fairly predictable schedule as long as you do the things you need to be doing -- 2 years to senior associate, 3 more years to manager, etc. You know what to expect. You learn a lot and get a lot of responsibility fast.

    Cons

There are a lot of politics and a lot of metrics you have to meet in order to be considered a top performer. Most people work a lot of hours, though I never really have had to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat the staff less like chess pieces in your power game. Ha! That was a little bit of a joke but true to an extent regarding the politics.
