I have been working at PwC full-time for less than a year

    Pros

PwC is a very structured company and they expect that you will make a difference with the lives and companies that you touch, and you will. You are expected to be human, but excellence is expected. PwC grows their employees and expects you to grown those around you.

    Cons

    Not to many so far.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please continue to grown your employees.

I have been working at PwC full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There is always somebody, somewhere, doing something you're passionate about. If you're lucky enough to find the team and get involved, there's so much you can get out of the PwC experience. I was not the happiest employee for the first few months, but was fortunate enough to find a group of people who were working on what I love. I wake up motivated every morning, believe it or not.

    Cons

Not all teams are alike, and finding that one niche is difficult, especially for new associates and senior associates. Some groups are more intense (I-banking-like), hierarchical, and don't treat you well, while others are more egalitarian, and understand the value of work-life balance. It truly depends on what you are doing, and with whom you're doing it.

I worked at PwC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

PwC has a fast-paced work environment - if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. They hire the best and brightest, no matter what package they come in. Training is first-rate and plentiful.

    Cons

PwC's business model tends to heavily leverage young talent. There is a high level of turnover amongst young staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Access to clients through IEPs tends to be somewhat restricted. Even access to IEPs to present ideas tends to be a little difficult. There needs to be a better process for getting new ideas to clients.

I worked at PwC full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Strong training and development, career opportunities, alumni involvement, brand recognition, constant learning, daily challenges and growth. Stay on top of current issues and be a thought leader. Grow your network exponentially.

    Cons

Long hours, nights, weekends, holidays... whatever is needed to get the job done and ensure client satisfaction. Difficult to make work-life balance and get the most out of the opportunities available. Easy to get buried in your work unless you are mindful about setting boundaries with yourself and others.
