Great development experience and really brilliant colleagues

    Consultant (Current Employee)
    London, England (UK)

ProsI love the development opportunities. There are roles available in all sorts of roles. The internal teams are really strong in certain areas and it makes the company flow well. The processes and procedures are relatively clear and people are always willing to help. The office in London Bridge is great and a really first class place to work

ConsThere is a still an 'old boy' network to getting the best projects and good jobs. End of year moderation takes ages and is very drawn out. Internal IT systems etc aren't as joined up as I would like them to be. As with all lagre firms there is a constant level of change which could be managed a little better

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate more often on the things that matter - Be honest and communicate before you know all of the answers. Ask more advice of your staff, don't do it all on your own.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Current employee.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat people, lots of opportunities if you seek them out, focussed on employee engagement and communication. Anyone who leaves always says that they miss the people they worked at PwC more than anything else. PwC is concerned about the right things eg quality of work, diversity, flexible working, personal development. Great emphasis on personal integrity and doing the right thing.

ConsOrganisational structure, lack of clear governance within the partnership model. As above, concerned about all the right things but sometimes patchy in delivery of them.

Advice to Senior ManagementChange the structure, challenge the partners more

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Pros- great client portfolio
    - great socials and young workforce
    - lots of opportunities for the proactive employee

    Cons- Salary
    - Very hierarchical
    - Can get disruptive always being offsite with clients.

    Good Experience depending overall

    Senior Associate (Current Employee)
    London, England (UK)

ProsOnly talking about LTT (London Top Tier) Business Group
    Great Client Profiles
Very less traveling or London based traveling
    Great Colleagues
    Office facilities
    Central London locations

    ConsToo Much Audit Focused
Resourcing is worthless (book random people on random jobs, no skill based resourcing)
Some slow Senior Managers (who are Senior Managers for quite some time) are discouraging for promotions
Too much office politics as promotions depends on how much you know people rather than how much valued you have added
Most People Manager doesn't take their job even 1% seriously

Advice to Senior ManagementPromote people with both Sales & Delivery skills, not with only internal networking skills
People Managers roles shouldn't be given to everyone, lets people become People Manager who are really passionate about other people's careers
Count 360 feedback in Promotion cases

Great organisation in which to learn and develop skills and gain experince of different business sectors

    Director (Former Employee)
    London, England (UK)

ProsExcellent learning and development facilities, chance to test one's own capabilities and learn new skills across mutiple business sectors

ConsPartnership approach is unsustainable, who in today's world wants to work 24/7 over a 20 year period to become a Partner, need to move on and build a resume across multiple business sectors and become a true leader

Advice to Senior ManagementThe other Big 4 are moving away from Partnership models, either shape up or ship out
