I have been working at Qualcomm full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Type of work is amazing; longer hours but great I really enjoy working. Really smart people, lots of training (if you can find time)

    Cons

Middle management is heavy and too political, going through big company pain. Forget getting promotion; and if one get's it they become complacent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

PAY employee based on their merit, and demote people who doesnt perform at their title level.

I worked at Qualcomm full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great housing provided. Competitive compensation. Various intern events and guest lectures organized to enhance the overall experience. I would recommend the experience to anyone willing to get an exposure to some of the recent cool technologies.

    Cons

Did not learn a lot as such on the technical side. Was given a step-by-step task which had to be implemented. The project was completely thought about by the upper management of the team and the specifications provided were sometimes vague, which made the implementation process very iterative and mostly boring.
