    Pros

You make great money here if you work hard. 100K+ is feasible within your first year. Also you will really like the people you work with.

    Cons

Mental Stress and constant micromanagement combined with the minimum 60 hour weeks makes you think twice about the pay. There isnt enough work-life balance.

    Pros

I am kind of a hybrid computer technician in Cleveland responsible for keeping the site up and running with its Technology. It is great. No micromanagement, flexible schedule, lots of time for study and projects as long as I keep the site running. I do some networking, working with servers, vendor software, logistics, and projects for 3 companies in Cleveland and remote support for a location in Pittsburgh. I make a comfortable living for a single man in his 20s and there is still a lot of room to move within the company. Been with them 1.5 years.

    Cons

I'm really thinking hard on this one. Can be hard to get your foot in the door, lengthy application process, however it makes sense for security.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps do a cost/spending analysis to save some money on equipment.

    Pros

They provide you with all the basic needs to get your work done, the best of technology and technology support, office supplies, unlimited snacks and coffee.

    Cons

Ubrubt management/leadership changes. You're here one day and gone the next, and no one knows why. Despite the "fun" atmosphere they try to create downtown, it's so hard to get out of the office to enjoy any of them. I live in the suburbs and the drive to and from downtown is simply awful, but of course that's not on them. It's a great place to start your career but not much of advancement options unless you're a favorite of a leader.

    Advice to Management

People are leaving a good company mostly because of politics. Some leaders don't live the ISMS, start looking into why good team members are leaving.

    Pros

Amazing culture and lots of perks including free snacks, slurpies, coffee, as well as free tickets to concerts and sporting events.

    Cons

Salaries are lower than national average and long hours are expected.

    Advice to Management

Compensate your team members who live and breathe the culture with a competitive salary so talent doesn't go elsewhere. Keep inspiring your team members to grow and think outside their area of the business.

    Pros

    Great culture.

Many opportunities to explore the company.

Given a lot of independence in my role.

Leadership always willing to answer questions and offer advice

    Cons

Job role was not well defined.

I don't feel as if I was immersed in my department well enough; I had a general idea of what others around me were doing, but I did feel connected to the process.

At times, it seemed as if all I was doing was killing time and doing busywork rather than anything which would really help the company.

    Advice to Management

Provide a better framework for certain roles in the internship program. While many others had very specific duties, I felt as if my role lacked guidance and specificity, and I was often left to either create work for myself (at times a valuable exercise) or to perform various odd jobs which were unrelated to my role.

    Pros

Incredible internship opportunity. Quicken Loans truly cares about providing a positive experience for their interns, and you'll never have to get anyone coffee!

    Cons

As an intern I thought it was a great experience, but I realized I did not want to go into mortgage banking because of the demanding hours. If you are planning on becoming a mortgage banker expect a 60 hour work week.

    Advice to Management

Decrease the amount of hours to prevent employees from getting burnt out quickly. There is a high turn over rate because the time commitment is incredibly draining.
