    I worked at RB full-time

    Pros

    Good pay
You can go as far as you want - ambition is expected
    Good severance packages

    Cons

They are looking to consolidate facilities, so will shut down the facilities if they can move the production elsewhere (especially UK).

I worked at RB full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Pockets of brilliance and high-achieving MBAs that are collaborative, supportive, and inspiring via their actions and thinking. Very tough to find yourself in the company of one of these teams as they are far and few, but if you do get matched up, count your stars. you are very fortunate!

    Cons

    1) homegrown Intl farm system for marketers at the undergrad level means Mgrs with no other real work experience aside from RB. This reinforces the antiquated culture and mentality that everyone else on glass door has mentioned and that RB has been trying to shed - bad attitudes, questionable work ethic, poor treatment of supporting functions and staff, very short term scope with all tactics (no strategy), no sense of how to motivate others or operate in humane civilized fashion, low standard of personal output, always passing the buck, etc.

    2) MBA intern pools continue to suffer. Each year has gotten progressively worse, probably due to poor recruiting efforts at top schools, plus reputation being tainted and reinforced by bad eggs mentioned in point 1. Tenacity, initiative, EQ,charisma, creativity, aptitude, resourcefulness, all are lacking. Give us actual talent we can work with!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on quality MBAs from proven, quality Grad programs
Don't be so lenient on intl transfers or farm system prodigies; if they are not performing, cut them loose (LT growth > political game)
Prior work Experience matters; global perspective also matters (global does not mean UK perspective )
Consider whether current Hr and recruitment practices are best in class, or actually worst in class, when it comes to brand stewardship and developing bench strength.

I have been working at RB full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Lots of challenge and opportunity. Good salary. Jobs with huge scope and very few processes to hold you back.

    Cons

Very few of the senior management stay in one position long enough to become fully versed in their businesses and so decision making can appear random and reactive. Projects run at breakneck speed which can lead to mistakes. Short term outlook.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on choosing the right developments instead of just running mediocre stuff fast.

I have been working at RB full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A great company as a whole. Ownership level is off the charts, you will learn more in a year's time than you would in 10 in other companies. Leadership charter changing internal direction to more respect for others

    Cons

Certain departments lack authentic leadership, still managing by brutal tactics instead of embracing the leadership charter

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the leadership charter is the model for the future, then Everyone should be held accountable, not selectively enforced

    Fast Pace But High Stress

I have been working at RB

    Pros

Due to the lean structure and fast pace, you get a lot of exposure and experiences from Day 1 which allows you to quickly enhance your skill set. Also progression is quick so there are many opportunities to work in various locations and across multiple brands.

    Cons

On the downside, the structure and fast pace results in a high-stress environment and eventual burnout. Also the demands of the business makes work/life balance difficult. Lastly, the culture encourages disrespect between employees and lack of accountability.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider providing actual direction and consistent priorities. Also help lighten the workload by proper resourcing and reduction of countless meetings.

    I worked at RB

    Pros

It is a great international company with lots of opportunities for global mobility. People are smart and come from different nationalities. Sometimes you feel like you are working at United Nations. Very good pay and bonus program.

    Cons

Very aggressive business culture, more leaning on zero sum gains vs. win-win while dealing with vendors and suppliers. Similar culture in between departments, even when you communicate to sales or marketing, you look like an adversary rather than a colleague.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create more synergies among and between departments.
