Good place to learn, but not for everyone

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsVery open to allowing employees to undertake their own projects in various areas. Culture is strong and carefully maintained, so employees who work for the company generally enjoy being there.

ConsPractically zero instruction of guidance in favor of a learn-by-doing approach for new hires, but this can be circumvented by seeking out assistance from colleagues, who are always helpful and have been through the same learning process themselves.

Advice to Senior ManagementEven if comprehensive training is not made available, at least have more initiation procedures pointing new hires to what they must learn/train for and where

    Great Company, Great Culture

Customer Service Team Lead (Current Employee) Parsippany, NJ

ProsThe company has created an excellent work environment in which you take on responsibilities from the start that you would not have the opportunity to in other companies until you have been there a few years. This creates an innovative entrepreneur work environment .

ConsThe intrapreneur work environment is not a good fit for everyone, you must be disciplined and know what needs to be done as you are watched over like you would be in other companies.

Fast paced, high potential, high reward, empowering pace to grow your career

Team Leader (Current Employee) Parsippany, NJ

ProsA fantastic place to work if you want to move fast, and be rewarded for your hard work. Very result and P&L driven. No place to hid, those that are creative and have the fact to support their insights will be heard and will be successful quickly.

ConsIf you're not ready for the fast paced, learn as you go, in your face, get it done yesterday, know our numbers like the back of your hand kind of environment, you won't survive the grind at RB.

    Rewarding

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Parsippany, NJ

ProsAchievement based business model where recognition goes to those who deserve it. Always new challenges presented daily. Very energetic workplace. Results Driven. A "pave your own way" kind of place.

ConsDemanding, sometimes creating long hours (12+). Not a clear organization structure, leads to lack of direction for entry level "rock stars". Sales/Marketing focused (good for sales, not for supply)

Advice to Senior ManagementCreate a pathway for entry level positions - i.e. future plans

Great leadership, terrific incentives, and ample learning and advancement abilities.

Maintenance Mechanic (Former Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsMy husband bragged about the company's terrific leadership. He said they ensure the plant continues to run both effectively and efficiently but not at the expense of its employees. He told me that he was treated extremely well and received praise for jobs well done.

ConsI would have preferred he work 1st shift; however, the option did not become available.

Advice to Senior ManagementMy family appreciated the opportunity.

Great place to work if you are the type of person to make your own opportunities and seize them!

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Parsippany, NJ

ProsRB is a great place to work if you are the type of person who looks to make your opportunities and seize them while they are there. You will succeed if you take control of your career and where you want to be.

ConsThe work life balance could certainly be improved. That being said, RB is a culture where you work hard and play hard.
