Pretty good

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
Mississauga, ON (Canada)

I have been working at RBC Insurance full-time for more than a year

ProsAll the perks of a big company, lots of opportunities if you go looking for them. Many of the people I have met so far are very friendly and eager to share their experiences. The internal job website is very useful to see what else is out there.

ConsNone so far, though some coworkers seem pretty cynical and lack ambition, there seems to be a lack of talent. I imagine the hours would be tough for someone with more responsibilities.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Mostly good, could be better

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at RBC Insurance

Pros-friendly and supportive work environment
-flexible work/life balance

Cons- lower pay than other insurance companies
- in terms of technology they are slowly trying to catch up with their competitors (i.e. paperless claims, workfrom home)
-alot of paper pushing

Advice to Senior ManagementAdvise is to be upfront with employees about future plans for the department. There are a lot of issues that are up in the air. Pay employees on par with other insurance companies.
