    Pros

Re/Max is a great company and the brand recognition is truly there. There are Re/Max companies worldwide, and the company name speaks for itself. Well respected and known. It's a wonderful company.

    Cons

Some of the rules that are governed by the company can be a bit restricting. There are plenty of agents within the company and most of the offices have Broker Manages that competes with the agents.

    Advice to Management

Consider having non-competing Broker Managers as this will make some of the agents feels more confident. It is sometimes felt to be threatening when the agents have to compete against management for clients.

    Pros

I work from home. Pay a "desk fee" to RE/MAX. Having the name to work with has made my life as a Realtor a whole lot easier. The thing about just paying a fee to this Brokerage is it weeds not those who cannot sell real estate. Those who can make a great living. Easy simple and works.

    Cons

Not good for those who cannot be self employed.

    Advice to Management

    Thanks for keeping it simple.

    Pros

Fabulous support from Broker, colleagues and support staff. Fantastic culture and state of the art business facilities, equipment and services. Broker owner is non competing and really goes over and above to support agents with free coaching and reduced fees on current training from latest real estate trainers.

    Cons

You must come ready to earn and learn. Not really a "con", because you'll learn how to run your own real estate sales business, make a lot more money than other firms and live great too!

    Advice to Management

Don't stop what you are doing! Get more top agents to join our dynamic firm.

    Pros

Very flexible hours, great office environment. When I mentioned I wanted to become an agent, my bosses offered to cover my education and testing costs. They also take me to networking events and continuing education courses that I'm allowed to go to. Most of the agents have been in the industry for at least 15years.

    Cons

No cons for me. I would do it all over again, the only reason I am leaving is because I want to move to a different state.

    Pros

This company facilitates the sharing of ideas, and friendliness between agents.

    Cons

They aren't tech savvy. Their tools for realtors are much too outdated, and I often knew more about their products than their technical professionals.

    Advice to Management

Revamp agent sites/online tools. Make things more user-friendly and more customizable, not so cookie cutter.
